Dates to be aware of in 2024


March 15

First quarter instalment due from taxpayers who are required
to remit quarterly.


April 2

Due date for filing income tax returns for estates and trusts with a December 31 year end. Any balance owing for tax must also be paid by this date to avoid interest charges.


April 12

To ensure your tax return is filed on time, we request that you provide us with your complete information by April 12th.

April 30

Due date for filing 2023 personal income tax returns for the majority of taxpayers. We require your signed e-file consent form to e-file your tax return. Any balance owing for tax must be paid by April 30th to avoid interest charges. If you are self-employed and file an annual GST return,
any amounts owing for GST are due April 30th.


June 17

Due date for filing 2023 personal income tax returns for self-employed individuals and their spouse/common-law partner. Any balance owing for tax must be paid by April 30th to avoid interest charges. GST return is due June 17th and any amount owing for GST is due April 30th.
